Membership of the Llandudno Special Rating Area NPC (“LSRA”) is open to all the property owners, who are encouraged to apply for membership so that they exercise their rights to influence the business of the LSRA. Membership cannot be denied and the property owner is entitled to attend, participate and vote at the Company meetings held under the auspices of the Companies Act. Should a member be unable to attend any of the meetings they may give another individual their proxy to attend and vote on their behalf. Where a property is owned by a legal entity other than a natural person (eg a company or trust), a resolution is required authorising the a a natural person to represent that legal entity. Property owner non-members may attend and participate but cannot vote and as such may thus have limited influence on the LSRA’s activities.
